Share private playlists with context

A private playlist should answer the recipient questions before they ask: what is this, why am I hearing it, and what should happen next?

Step 1: Keep the playlist narrow

A focused playlist is easier to review. Group songs around one brief, contact, project, or decision.

Step 2: Add enough context

Use playlist names, song metadata, and notes to explain what the recipient should listen for.

Step 3: Follow up from the same context

Keep contacts and actions connected to the music so follow-up does not disappear into chat or email.

Questions

How many songs should be in a private playlist?

Use the fewest songs that answer the request. For briefs and professional review, a tight shortlist is usually stronger than a large dump.

Should private playlists allow downloads?

Only when the recipient needs files. For first listens or sensitive material, streaming-only links may be better.
