Create a song and edit details

Create a song, walk through audio upload safely, update metadata, and configure key song controls.

What this workflow covers

The walkthrough follows the real product flow, so the sections below map directly to what you will touch in the sandbox.

    Open create flow

    Click the Create Song button.

    Create a first song

    Fill in the modal and create your song.

    Land on details page

    Confirm you are on the new song details page.

    Open Upload Audio

    Click Upload audio to open the upload flow.

    Set track type to Mix

    Open Type and change it from Bounce to Mix.

    Upload the demo track

    Click Upload in the metadata modal.

    Play the demo track

    Click Play in the tracks table and open the audio player.

    Scroll in the waveform

    Drag or click in the waveform player to seek playback.

    Restart the track

    Click the restart button in the audio player.

    Disable repeat

    Turn repeat off in the audio player.

    Pause the player

    Pause playback before moving to Metadata.

    Open Metadata tab

    Switch to the Metadata tab.

    Add genre and record label

    Add a Genre, set a Record Label, then click Save.

    Change song status

    Update status from In Creation to another status.

    Set a priority

    Choose any priority other than No priority.

    Enable song notifications

    Turn on song notifications in the song header.
